Our offbeat wedding at a glance: We handcrafted as many elements as we could, and we really tried to keep a focus on infusing our personalities into just about everything. We eliminated the things that had no meaning to us (being given away, tossing of anything) and tried to jazz things up in other areas: a cake with flames and ushers on roller skates!

Lovers of steampunk, handmade dresses, and crazy DIYed weddings: unite! This wedding is for you. Everything about this party was crafted by the couple and their friends, even when unexpected changes forced them to move venues. Wait until you see the fire spinners, an amazing "bouquet," and the groom's chain mail.

You guys took to the Flickr Pool this week armed with photos of your bouquets and I'm LOVING it. So we're showing a few of those, plus some bonus socks, engagement rings, and save-the-dates. Oh, and you'll love the geeky Pinterest picks this week!

This wedding explodes with DIY details: a handmade dress and shrug, self-assembled bouquets and centerpieces, jewelry, hairpieces, flask garters, photo booth props, and barefoot sandals(!). The sandals were the perfect shoe solution for a beach ceremony. The handfasting, adorable "ring bear," and gorgeous setting round out a fabulous wedding day.

Tons of DIY, an awesome first look with which we had to tinker, a mashed potato bar, an all-Motown-all-the-time reception, and a favorite movie theme means lots of amazing personal touches. Plus, the bride saves the day with a bridesmaid dress snafu. Fair warning: get your tissues ready for their favorite moment.

Just looking at all of the handmade flower arrangements at this wedding makes me have sympathy DIY finger pain. But man, does it look awesome. With a vintage dress made for twirling, honey favors, and beaded bouquets, this is one whimsical wedding.

This beautiful wedding took place under a huge sculpture at The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Surrounded by art, the pair opted for orange, green, and butterfly-infused decor.
