Kevin and Katie met while LARPing, so cosplay and fantasy are all a huge part of who they are. When they got engaged and were starting to plan an engagement shoot with their photographer, Jason, he suggested a Star Wars cosplay engagement session. It was the robots idea they were looking for.

In a fortuitous coincidence, Jason knew another Offbeat Bride (featured here!) who is now a cosplay seamstress. These geektastic folks needed to team up.

They spent hours at Fort Worden in Port Townsend, WA posing and geeking out in both daytime action shots and nighttime Star Wars glam. Yes, that's a thing! There's even behind-the-scenes video evidence…
