Ooh ooh ooh! Shoes shoes shoes! I keep hearing about how clogs are making a comeback and it cracks me up because back in college I used to sell shoes. COMFORT SHOES. I worked at a place called MJ Feet: The Birkenstock Store, and we sold birks and Danskos, the ultimate comfort clog. I still loves me some Danskos — but high style they are not. Now, I'm not suggesting y'all wear Danskos for your wedding (although holy shit you'd have happy feet!). But there are definitely some clogs and mules that take it to the next level in terms of funk and fabulous. Hold my hand, click your wooden heels three times, and come with me! As always, click the shoe for more info. And if you can't see 'em, fiddle with your ad blocker. I have loved them since I clomped around in my aunt's clogs when I was a wee thing. I own three pair now, and if I wasn't trying to find $$$ to pay for a wedding, I would be ordering up a pair of those sweet black and red rose clogs right now. They're not my wedding shoes, but sooo comfy. Reply I actually just might get married in Danskos. I never learned how to walk in pointy heels and am getting married outside anyway. I found a pair of strappy heeled Dansko sandals on Ebay for $40 that are not very fancy but will totally do the trick and mostly be hidden by my fabulous (and long) dress anyway. Also the groom does not at all care what my feet look like and who else am I trying to impress? Reply Wowiza! I love all these, but the very best are the rose ones. Reply I love mules, wedges, and clogs! A flat/wedge/clog sole is very useful for freedom to run over all terrains, especially for running over fields and playing games! For maximum security and stability, I would always recommend you are firmly strapped into your shoe, but if you are not planning to run about, and just to balance, a mule is a great shoe. Reply Another place to go and drool is http://www.shoesofprey.com — you can play with your own shoe design. Hours of time wasted (on top of my hours of etsy surfing…) Reply Since not sinking into the grass is key, I've opted for wedges. Go wedges!
