These boots are made for weddin’

Posted by

As we head into autumn, I know more and more of you winter brides are starting to gear up on your planning… which means it’s almost WEDDING BOOT season. We’ve featured a ton of wedding boots over the years, and certainly I see them more in fall/winter weddings, but as for me personally? Like Stevie Nicks said, “‘I wear boots all summer long.

For this collection, I focused mostly on full boots, although I included a few booties and open-toed boots for variety. Prices range from $50 to $700 (cough sputter choke-on-drool).

As always, click the pictures for more info

  1. I love boots. LOVE. But I have really wide calves, so finding ones that fit is a hassle. And I want flat, maybe low wedge, shoes so I don’t have to change to be comfortable.
    The Patagonias look intriguing…

    • Same here! I love boots, but my legs are very muscular. (Thank you 4 years of karate and tennis). >.<

So far, the low ankle-length boots works best for me. Also, I've found that the slipper type boots from Target works well too.

Totally love the rainbow ones posted earlier! If I can find a cheaper pair that actually fits… might get married in those. XD

  2. Ok… so normally I’m a lurker but I ***have*** to comment on this thread to point out these amazing Doc Marten boots I’ve been contemplating getting myself.

Behold THE boot (comes in white or black): http://www.dmusastore.com/p-3518-rosie.aspx

Yes those are rose cut-outs. Couldn’t you see those with some brightly colored fishnets under them?! *squeal*

    • Normally, I’m a lurker too, but I was totally gonna write the same post! I have been drooling over those boots all summer

  3. Even after I get married, I think I’ll still come here just for posts like this. This is awesome, I never knew such boots existed!

  4. I really need a pair of boots. I’d been thinking it occasionally lately, but this post confirmed it. BOOTS. NEED.

  5. I’m trying to find mule-style shoes that are white and look like the sequined and embroidered shoes old world Indians wear. Khussa, I think. http://www.shopkhussa.com/ is a site I found today, but I’ve been daydreaming about wearing khussa to this thing for years now.

  6. I own the Seychelles Cuckoo open-toe ones in that very colour and they are easily my favourite pair of boots.

    *Drools*
