unique vintage floral wedding dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)I'm kind of REALLY excited right now because my favorite clothing store, Unique Vintage, is our newest offbeat sponsor!

Offbeat Brides have been loving on Unique Vintage for years, I cannot wait to show you their amazing vintage-inspired dresses that look phenomenal on brides and bridesmaids alike.

Hell, I wear my favorite Unique Vintage dress (here's a sneak peak) and my favorite shoes almost any chance I get a chance.

Since I can't bring y'all with me to Unique Vintage's store in Burbank, you can come virtually shop with me online!

Let's start with this beauty right here.

It's a 1950s vintage reproduction called the Meagan Wedding Dress.

It has champagne lace with flower appliques and pearl detailing all over with a full swing tea length skirt.

It's definitely a show-stopper.

But, oh. That's just the beginning of the show-stoppers…

unique vintage black dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)Here's another amazing swing skirt — check out this black floral and rhinestone swing dress. With that fabulous red crinoline and the sequin accents, this baby just begs to be slipped on and danced in all night. This also gives you a sneak peak into my favorite section of Unique Vintage's store — the Pin-Up section! Prepare to click that link and get lost for a couple days.

I recently bought two dresses from Unique Vintage's pin-up line: the Tattoo Print '50s Style Swing Dress and one of their wiggle dresses. Check me out in my polka dot wiggle dress!

unique vintage flapper dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)Unique Vintage offers an awesomely wide selection of dresses from specific eras, like the 1920s, 1940s and 1950s — perfect for those of you having a vintage or retro wedding. They have a decent selection of plus size dresses, and their flapper dresses are all kinds of gorgeous.

unique vintage wedding dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)Here's another outstanding wedding gown option. The Gathered & Rose Tea Length Wedding Dress is another 1950s vintage reproduction wedding dress. It has a fully gathered sweetheart bodice and the tea length skirt is made up on rose appliques. The waist is cinched with a removeable tie and there's boning in the bodice and thick cups for support and push up (perfect for you busty brides). You could probably wander into their wedding dress section and never find your way out. Over 500 affordable vintage-styled dresses!? Where am I? I never want to leave!

unique vintage red dress alternative wedding ideas from Offbeat Wed (formerly Offbeat Bride)I'm ending our shopping trip with this amazing Raspberry Polka Dot Swing Dress — I actually tried this baby on and I loved it.

If you weren't overwhelmed enough, please allow me to push you over the edge by sharing that Unique Vintage also has accessories (I bought the coolest owl purse there) and even shoes. Seriously, stop what you're doing right freaking now and go shop at Unique Vintage.

  1. My wedding dress – the blue one here – was from Unique Vintage! Because we live near Burbank, it was great to be able to try on the dresses with a quick trip. I spent less than $150. Then my mom & our amazing friend well-versed in the bedazzle arts added a ton of rhinestones to both my and my wife’s dress. (Next step – turning them into a quilt.)

I loved that Unique had a lot of dresses that extended well into 12/14/16/18 sizing – I wasn’t looking for a plus-sized gown but I have huge ribs and really struggled to find the juniors-ish look I wanted big enough to fit.

  2. Damn it lol I thought I was sorted for my dress making it because it was going to be cheaper, but with the exchange rate and the awesome price how can I say no.

  3. OH. MY. GOD.
I love this freaking store! They were already bookmarked in my browser! love it love it love it!

  4. I buy dresses about 3-4 times a year from Unique Vintage and I live in Australia so even with postage costs, their reproduction dresses are a steal!

  5. I actually wanted that black rhinestone dress in white but they’ve been backordered forever 🙁 I ended up getting my dress elsewhere (for 4x the price) but I always go back and shake my fist at the white rhinestone for having the audacity to not be in stock. I will buy it when my husband and I renew our vows on our anniversary <3 I love that store!

  6. ahhhh, I’ve been oggling that raspberry one since before my husband and I got married last June and still haven’t snagged it-maybe I should just buck up and buy it now before everyone else that just saw this post does.

    • Me, too! Except that mine is a much darker champagne color all over. They got a few like that by mistake and I snagged it up at a discount before they disappeared and re-ordered in a lighter color!

    • Ha! I just ordered this exact dress for my wedding yesterday! So glad to hear they are now sponsors here!

  7. I will be wearing the one up there in black.. except in white!
I cant wait to see if we call pull off our rockabilly/punkish beach wedding on a budget, with and reception @ the house of blues!

  8. My bridesmaids dresses are from there, they are dark purple swing dresses, kinda like the last red polka dot dress there.
I was jelous of my own bridesmaids, they are wearing the most awesome dresses ever to my wedding.
