Hi, I’m Meghan (she/her). I love flowers and I love creating beautiful, artisan designs. My journey in floristry started not too long ago and I’m grateful to have had opportunities to study floral design in England and work in the industry here in Edmonds, WA. Our home here in the Pacific Northwest is brimming with vibrant colors and lush textures. It provides me with inspiration and gratitude. I love celebrating what nature is offering in the current season and using it’s natural shape, texture, and color to influence my designs. I take care when sourcing flowers and materials, being careful to reduce waste and mindful of my carbon footprint. By using seasonal flowers grown by local farmers, my arrangements provide the best of what the PNW has to offer during the season. Beautiful floristry shouldn’t be at the expense of our Earth. At Twisted Bramble, I never use floral foam as it is toxic to our bodies and planet. Instead, I have worked to use compostable and reusable mechanics that are safe for us and the Earth. I want to be a good steward of the natural world and provide you with beautiful arrangements. I look forward to creating something special for you! xx

How I cater to offbeat weddings

Twisted Bramble is founded on the belief that floristry shouldn’t come at the expense of our planet. Flowers are always sourced from local, sustainable farms and foliage is responsibly foraged whenever possible. Specializing in artisan design, arrangements never have floral foam and single use plastic is avoided; compostable materials, such as twine, burlap, and moss are used to create beautiful, seasonal arrangements that are kind to our Earth.

Here at Twisted Bramble, or in any events associated with Twisted Bramble, racism of any kind will not be tolerated. I am committed to increasing cultural respect by cultivating greater understanding of diversity, inclusion, equity, implicit bias, white privilege, white supremacy, and systemic racism specifically within the floral industry.

Furthermore, I am committed to an environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. I am accepting and affirming of all of my clients, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, sex, age, physical or mental disability, and I guarantee that each client will receive the same standard of excellence I strive to provide.
