Hi! I’m Jenna (she/he/they/meatsuit) and I’m just your friendly neighborhood wedding photographer. After nine years and 315+ weddings, I can honestly say weddings are my drug of choice. There are few things in this world better than witnessing two people madly in love commit to one another. I love being a part of something bigger and more important than me. My clients may forget my name in ten years, but my passion for nostalgia keeps a part of their marriage alive forever.
Writing profiles like this has so much pressure attached. How the hell do I convince you I’m your dream photographer in less than thirty seconds of rapid skimming?! Sure, I could write, “Every client gets a kitten!” or “I can bring Matthew Mcconaughey to your reception!” That would probably be the ticket…until you discover it’s a lie (the kitten is possible, but Matthew doesn’t know I exist). So here I am, in my pajamas at home, trying to figure out how to make you like me.
A lot of people are concerned about rejection. Obvs, I am one of those people. I worry about how I look, how I talk (don’t make me listen to a recording of myself), how loud I am. I know I’m not alone in this, especially if you’re peering into the wedding industry’s mirror. White, size 0, hair extensions, chiseled jaw, Kardashian lips. I’m sure they’re perfectly nice people, but…not everyone wants to spend $500k on a wedding, Karen.
That’s why I love Offbeat Bride and everything it has to offer. Real people, real weddings, real emotions. Offbeat brides are my jam. I don’t care about your sex, gender, ethnicity, lifestyle (I do care if you voted for Trump though). I just want to spend my days with amazing people who are just having a good time!

I try to hang out at least 1-2 times before a wedding, as well as host client events, to create a relationship with those that trusted me enough to invest in my business.
