I’ve never been much for tradition, so you can imagine weddings were never really my “thing” when I first picked up a camera. Fortunately, I’ve discovered (from places like Offbeat Bride) that the wedding industry has been evolving away from the old cookie-cutter format. That is what keeps me doing what I do.
My favorite weddings are the ones where you and your partner’s personalities show throughout the day rather than getting lost in all the things you “have” to do. I love being part of a day filled with so much love and excitement and what I aim to do is find you in all of it. Because weddings aren’t about fitting into a mold anymore – they’re about you getting to celebrate your love.
How I cater to Offbeat Brides
My photography style is candid and photojournalistic, which means I’ll generally just let you be you. I love the unique and unpredictable, and my ultimate goal is making sure you look and feel comfortable in your photos. I make sure to really hear your story so that I can ensure that your photos are authentic and true to you.
"We contacted tons of photographers, but Sarah was the only one who was interested in hearing our story and what we were really looking for in our photos. This made all the difference in the world because our pictures turned out beyond perfect and she captured the way we look at each other so incredibly, which was extremely important to us."
