It’s ok to admit that you’re scared of wedding DJs.
The bad tuxes; the tacky “jazz” music during dinner; the fear of the Macarena and the Chicken Dance.
Here is the good news: it does not have to be that way! All Ears DJ has rocked more than 500 weddings from San Francisco to Chicago to Kansas City with music that exudes good taste. Want a Motown mood? Cue up the Marvin Gaye. Looking for some ’80s flair? MJ’s gonna work it day and night. Does a ’90s theme suit you? Salt-n-Pepa will push it real good. More Top 40 you say? Let’s guest list Calvin Harris and the Weeknd.
Every song we spin has to pass a series of rigorous tests to answer one question: IS IT A BANGER?
Some of us are also performing singers/guitarists with expansive repertoires of silly love songs (the breakup tunes don’t seem to play quite as well at weddings). We love singing and strumming and we won’t even freak out and end up boozing in a dumpster like Adam Sandler in “The Wedding Singer”.
Most importantly, All Ears DJ is all about spinning the tunes that YOU want to hear. We collaborate with you to create a completely unique playlist. By the time we get to your wedding, we’ll already have your favorite music cued up.
How I cater to Offbeat Brides
You won't find a wedding DJ with a more expansive knowledge of indie and underground music, vintage funk and soul, electro booty jams, etc! Richard Gintowt also performs live acoustic music for ceremonies with a repertoire spanning artists like Death Cab for Cutie, Band of Horses, the Avett Brothers, and Edward Sharpe.
