There is literally NO world in which I would not wear BHLDN's Bianca top and the Ahsan skirt again

I'm highly attracted to the idea of wearing a two piece wedding dress. I love the fact that it means I could easily re-wear both pieces again and again. Maybe wear the big wedding skirt to a fancy holiday party? Maybe wear the wedding top, dressed down with some jeans to a summer BBQ. Endless possibilities to incorporate my wedding outfit into my daily wardrobe.

So I've been scouring the interwebs for awesome two piece wedding dresses, and I thought I'd share the fashion inspo…

    • It is amazing; only issue is the top of the skirt is just a simple cotton and elastic so re-wearing it with other tops tucked in isn’t an option without getting it altered. I ordered just the skirt and crinoline for my wedding and had my amazing seamstress put a gathered cotton waistband that matches the satin (she also took out the horsehair that made the crinoline comically puffy on my 5’3″ body.)

  1. I love the gold top and tule skirt combo, especially the top, the combo of the fancy razzle dazzle sequins and the casual t-shirt style is really funky and mega re-wearable. Also that kind of swing style top is great for a) actually being able to sit down in and b)accommodating a bellyfull of wedding food, important considerations! Separate tops and bottoms are easier to transport and care for too.

  2. Gorgeous wedding gowns. I love when brides have options, and wish more wedding gown designers would include two piece gowns in their lines.

    • However these outfits could be put together from prices purchased separately and not necessarily from bridal shops. Also a tulle skirt is less a challenging DIY project that a full on gown and could be combined with a bought top, all of which guarantees something very original and probably budget friendly!

    • Some of those are gorgeous, but the sign up for our newsletter pop up on every single page makes it very hard to navigate. I don’t have a wedding date, silly website, I’m just here to ogle!

    • Hi Hannah,

Thanks for sharing our bridal separates! We have a whole new collection coming out and would love to show you our new designs if you are still looking. =) Let us know!

Sorry about the email sign up pop up message, we had some bug that’s fixed now.
