Longtime photography partners of ours, DIWAS Photography, have been rolling up with stellar shots that continue to wow us every time we see a new one. You'll need to fan yourself from the pink suit & striped dress at this romantic Sunday wedding

You’ll need to fan yourself from the pink suit & striped dress at this romantic brunch wedding

We just wanted a small, relaxed, morning brunch wedding where people could go about their day afterwards and not where people got wasted and stayed until 1am — that is my nightmare wedding. It’s great for some, but the opposite of what I envisioned. Thankfully it all came together and it was over by 2:30pm, leaving people to enjoy the rest of their day. Instead of a dance floor, people milled around talking and eating and enjoying custom drinks. It was great!

A woodland darkly glam wedding with skulls, succulents, & spines

Bride Kayla loves the color black, glitter, bones, and science, so all of those things were incorporated into her and groom Josh’s wedding day. It was truly a darkly glam wedding for the ages.

A backyard garden party wedding with yard games & cocktail recipe cards

When we started planning our wedding, we quickly discarded a lot of traditional elements. What we did want in a wedding was an opportunity to celebrate with our loved ones, to gather around a table and enjoy a meal together, to welcome our people into our home, and celebrate as a group. So we focused on the most important stuff to accommodate our vision: a small event in our backyard, a menu and cocktails that reflected our tastes, handmade décor, yard games, and a non-religious ceremony officiated by a dear friend.

Julika and Jess were married at the Ballard Bay Club on Shilshole Bay in Seattle. Jess waited for Julika to arrive at the Chittendon/Ballard Locks for a super sweet first look. it all started out cloudy, but soon the sun peeked out and shed light on all the love and lit up Puget Sound as their stellar ceremony backdrop. The ceremony was conducted by Julika’s father, Rev. Jon Luopa, and included a tree ceremony!

This stunning Snoqualmie Falls elopement was a long wait from two continents away

Clare and Sirchauncey waited thirteen months to finally find themselves getting married in a gorgeous setting in Snoqualmie, WA. Their Snoqualmie Falls elopement happened only after months and months of planning with Clare living in Australia and Sirchauncey living in the States. They had waited for the Visa to make it official and finally it did. And it was breathtaking.

It was worth the wait and now we get to see it…
