Brianne & Michael’s Time Travel costume wedding with a TARDIS
The Day of the Doctor is coming in honor of Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary. What better way to relish in one of our fave fandoms than to have a Doctor Who theme week? Today we’ve got an all-era time travel costume wedding! Think amazing decor (including light-up centerpieces!), a chihuahua in a dress, and a mysterious Time Lord officiant coming out of the smoke! This theatrical pair KNOWS how to throw a multi-talented party.
Rick & Emma’s giant sci-fi rock ‘n’ roll wedding
This pair brings the house down at their huge wedding with live bands, sci fi details (including an amazing photo booth!), gorgeous music hall venue, and even a Klingon love poem at the ceremony. PLUS, the groom planned the wedding himself and has the battle scars to prove it. Check out this space age dance party in Brooklyn.
Becky & Shannon’s Southern music and paper flowers wedding
This singer/pianist duo loves performing and it totally shows in this musical wedding in a theater. We’re talking sheet music flowers, treble heart cake toppers, super professional-looking, and headshots of the “wedding cast.” But my favorite part of all is that they had MUSICAL VOWS! You’ve gotta see how they did it. Plus, if you’ve ever had a problem finding something dapper and non-dressy to wear to your lesbian wedding, you may have a… “semi-butch quandary!”
Megan & Chris’ summer carnival wedding with rockabilly style
This pair had a small wedding with BIG personality: a carnival-themed wedding with retro rockabilly style. There are lots of DIY projects to ogle, including the bride’s brooch bouquet, crochet bouquets, button bouquets (so much bouquet love!), a colorful candy buffet, and circus-style banners. Step right up and feast your eyes on the spectacle!
Betsy & Josh’s retro and rock theater wedding
A little Slayer, some Stray Cats, vintage-style fashion, and a 1942 Oldsmobile made this wedding a rock-lover’s wet dream. But it wasn’t all hard-edge and kicking ass. The couple’s daughter made for some sweet photos and the dancing shots are grin-inducing. It’s a mix of hard rock and lace in this vintage-inspired wedding in an art deco theater.
Aron & Kyle’s New Year’s Eve theater wedding
A purple dress and pin-striped suit in the snow is amazing. The theater and unity cocktail with “Dudeist” officiant is even more to love. Set it on New Year’s Eve, make vows to a one-year-old, and give your groomsmen nicknamed tuxedo t-shirts, and we’ll all fall in love with your cute asses. Read on to fall in love yourself.
