Motorcycles, cowboy chic, & vinyl at this Pennsylvania backyard wedding

I have heard it told that when a hairless cat watches you get ready for your wedding, you're in for a lifetime of good luck. You haven't heard that? It's a thing. So when Britta and Tomy's no-frills Pennsylvania backyard wedding came across my screen, I knew it was good luck.

You'll be enthralled by the many motorcycles and vans, casual cowboy chic, the vintage-fab ladies arriving in a classic car, and the pops of red everywhere.

Coffee, tattoos, & bubbles at this vegan botanical garden wedding in Virginia

Ashley channeled a bohemian goddess from head to gold-toe Doc Martens, and Dave rocked his tux with his signature fully ringed fingers. The ceremony was performed by a family friend, surrounded by a small group of family and friends in the stunning atrium. Both Ashley and Dave are coffee enthusiasts so for their cocktail hour they had a coffee bar by Caffe Amouri.

Their vegan wedding dinner was Irish breakfast-themed catered by DC Vegan. At the end, they were sent off by a cascade of bubbles. You've got to see this one…

A laid-back Friday 13th Wedding with antlers and a killer pink suit

Alex and Mick's Friday the 13th wedding featured some of the most amazing details we've seen: a hand-painted antler headpiece, Mick's killer hot pink suit, handmade rings (that they made!), and an after party at some pubs. This is a wedding I can only wish I attended. Here's a little from the couple themselves including MAJOR surprises at both the ceremony and reception…

A goth meets nerd meets glam wedding with on-site ring tattoos

We had an overall gothic Halloween wedding, with comic and hockey-themed aspects. Our short ceremony had music by the Smiths, The Cure, and Type O Negative, as well as an officiant dressed as a friar. The ceremony highlighted with nerdy themes including, but not limited to, X-Men, Star Wars, Stardust, Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Lord of the Rings.

A romantic bohemian Grecian elopement

Our wedding was more about us no longer wanting to wait to get married. Ben and I met just over four years ago, but we both knew from the first date that this was it. We got engaged a year later, with his son on the beach, but, around the same time, my freelance artwork for local restaurant had slowly grown into a full time job for me.

With our busy schedules, we knew we would never get around to planning a wedding, so we decided to splurge on a bad-ass honeymoon and elope in Greece!
