The mirrored corset at this teal and tentacles firey wedding stole our hearts
Liz and Tony’s wedding inspiration came from trips and involvement in the Burning Man community where they met some of their closest friends. Some of our favorite parts were their customized outfits in teal and green with octopus light-up umbrellas, and their reception with fire dancers, fire sculptures, and a ring nest complete with robin’s eggs. Liz’s dress featured loads of tentacles and a corset made from shattered pieces of mirrored glass. You’ll absolutely want to see the whole shebang.
How to make large paper succulent centerpieces (or bouquets!)
These paper succulents are a larger version of this amazing Lia Griffith tutorial. Her templates are built so that all 10 petal pieces fit on a standard letter size sheet of paper. This is great for the smaller, 2.5″ size flowers, but we needed to get beefy with these leafy blossoms!
Gold, succulents, and rock ‘n’ roll at Claire & Dave’s geometric wedding
Be prepared to go ape shit over the bride’s floral and succulent headpiece, the handmade gold geometric details all over the place, the rad rock ‘n’ roll Chicago venue, the vegetarian spread, the cake AND pie (as per family tradition), and so much beauty you won’t know what to do with yourself. Go see for yourself!
Give your guests itty bitty succulents in teeny tiny jars
Catherine and Agustin were very focused on creating most of their wedding decor and favors themselves — including these adorable teeny tiny succulent gardens!
Turtles, starfish, and sailboats: a sun-filled aquarium wedding from New Jersey
Ben and Erin hosted their ceremony and reception at New Jersey’s Atlantic City Aquarium. The pair included a ton of darling details like blue and teal striped pinwheels and planting a tree together for their unity ceremony. They also opted to leave several seats intentionally empty during the ceremony, and marked these spots with a handwritten tribute to family and friends who couldn’t be there to celebrate.
An intimate kaleidoscopic family-focused wedding from the Philippines
Hasmukh and Kathlynn fused a whole lot of color into their wedding day. Everything is color-drenched and squeal-worthy, from the bride’s bright red bouquet and jewelry, to the pink-hued streamers in the ceremony! The wedding decor was 100% DIYed by the couple and their family members. They handcrafted striped and polka-dotted yellow and orange lanterns, created wedding signs with sturdy paper and puff paint, and tucked floral centerpieces into coffee mug vases.
