Abbie & Justin's technicolor karaoke wedding

This wedding has paper flowers, rainbow cupcakes, a silver dress by Miss Brache's, a taco truck reception, and a super crafty way to make seating a cinch. And when the bride sang Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You," all fell under her spell.

The unexpected benefits of "getting legalled" before our wedding

The impetus behind our legalling came upon us quite unexpectedly: I became aware of a scholarship available to military spouses. The catch: I wouldn't become a military spouse until my after the deadline to apply for the scholarship had passed. So we got legalled. As expected, having the ability to now apply for this scholarship is a wonderful thing. But something completely unexpected happened through this experience that I did not anticipate.

Becky & Shannon's Southern music and paper flowers wedding

This singer/pianist duo loves performing and it totally shows in this musical wedding in a theater. We're talking sheet music flowers, treble heart cake toppers, super professional-looking, and headshots of the "wedding cast." But my favorite part of all is that they had MUSICAL VOWS! You've gotta see how they did it. Plus, if you've ever had a problem finding something dapper and non-dressy to wear to your lesbian wedding, you may have a… "semi-butch quandary!"

My husband's ex-wife is his Best Woman

When John and I got married, our wedding party consisted of one person each. My Maid of Honor was my best friend of twenty years, Kate. His Best Woman was his ex-wife, Katie. My biggest concern was that people would mix up their names. Since then, I have been told a dozen times, "You let his ex-wife be his Best Woman? That's so weird! I could never do that." As if it's common knowledge that all ex-wives are evil and all new wives should be jealous of them and hate them.
