Drool over one last spooky wedding of the season with a corpse bride from Pennsylvania!
Okay, yes, we’re moving away from the season of skeletons and spooks, BUT. I owe it to you all to show you this one last spooky glam wedding! Crissa made for an awesome corpse bride when she and TJ got married earlier this fall. She styled her own look, thanks in part to her grandmother’s wedding dress, a skirt of her own, and some choice accessories from Lovechild Boudoir. TJ absolutely kept up with his own Victorian corpse groom costume, and Crissa’s daughter joined in the fun as a sparkly princess.
Beth & Garrett’s nerdy boozy musical kickballer wedding
Home-brewed beer (including beer ceremony), an Elvis officiant, a hilarious camp wedding guide, and a cocktail hour with lawn games and merit badges — you’ve just described my perfect camp-out party. Don’t even get us started on the tearful first look, the Sharpie pre-tattoo rings, the dads’ pre-ceremony chest bump, and the time-traveling video invitation. Oh, and there’s one more video that we’re keeping a secret. Trust me, you have to see it.
A swanky Brooklyn loft wedding with inked-up brides
Two white gowns + two hot ladies = too much for us to handle. The backdrop to this swank event was an old tobacco factory-turned-loft space, Deity Lounge in Brooklyn. The must-sees: lots of ink, personalized cake pops (get in my mouf), and some truly epic accessory bling. Plus, they had matching ring finger tattoos which were in addition to their rings, not instead.
Vader bride, tattoo rings, and fire balls on this week’s Reader Round-up
You’re going to see more of this wedding in a couple days, but I thought I’d give you a little Darth Vader-y sneak peak in this reader round-up.
In fact, there are a LOT of cute peeks into our readers’ weddings this week: tattoo rings, swanky groomsmen, and a favor idea that helped me out in my personal life. Let’s get it on…
A skull-filled Halloween wedding with on-site ring tattoos
Michelle and Shaun planned a Dia de los Muertos-meets-Halloween-meets heavy metal wedding with barbecue, kegs of beer, papier-mâché masks, and skull details. And get this, they got ring tattoos… AT THE WEDDING!
Shannon & Brad’s vintage-inspired New Year’s Eve wedding
Another year closes and lucky for us, some of our couples choose to have their wedding on New Year’s Eve! With winter decor, festive hats, noise makers, and lots of DIY details, this pair made the official transition from best friends to married couple in grand style. Happy new year!
