"A few of our favorite things": a nostalgic wedding down memory lane

The theme to our wedding was pretty simple: "these are a few of our favorite things." One of the things that made us fall for each other was our similar interests from childhood. We wanted our wedding to be full of nostalgiac whimsy and, most importantly, us. From the first day we were engaged we knew we wanted to get married at Childrens Fairyland in Oakland, a place near and dear to our hearts. You better believe I called the venue that first day while laying on the beach in Hawaii.

A Tim Burton-inspired wedding with hints of Star Wars and epic terrarium centerpieces

Tracy and Ben’s Tim Burton-inspired wedding was an amazing reflection of an aesthetic they love. Plus, there were hints of Star Wars and comic books, too. They got married at a private barn in Pipersville, PA that had rustic charm for days and plays host to art shows. Tracy DIYed all of the decorations including the very fun and geeky terrariums.

Let's peep this killer goth and Tim Burton-inspired wedding…

Their photographer met them at the entrance to the forest at Pine Quarry Park in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. There was a private ceremony, a gorgeous cake, and a few stunning portraits (some with colorful smoke bombs — the groom's idea!).

Let's get a tiny look at this secluded Ohio forest elopement…

The Redwood Wedding: All men must dine

We met at a Game of Thrones viewing party and podcast, and we really bonded over our love (read: obsession) with food. So when it came time to plan our wedding at Mike's ancestral — Redwood House — we combined the things that brought us together: Game of Thrones and food. Thus, "The Redwood Wedding: All Men Must Dine" was born. And man, was it awesome!

A quirky and magical wedding at The Houdini Estate

"We picked a location that matched our personalities. As the entire estate was a homage to Harry Houdini, we also wanted to reflect magic elements in our day. We hired an amazing magician and had candles everywhere." This magical wedding was full of color, amazing flowers (thanks, fam!), and a gorgeous dress. You're going to be astounded and amazed…
