Nicole & Adam's lunchtime guitar-igami wedding

We teased this couple's adorable crocheted dessert table toppers earlier this week and now we've got the whole story! We're talking a self-catered fajita bar, suuuuper sweet serenades from the groom AND the bride's father, and a last-minute rain break for an awesome outdoor ceremony. And just wait until you hear what the officiant did during the epic-length first kiss!

Asha & Jay's family game day BBQ 'n' beer wedding

Lots of kids + lots of games + lots of time to run around = lots of fun. That's the theory of this wedding and it TOTALLY worked. Add in the gorgeous venue, two different ceremonies, and lots of DIY, and this community-oriented wedding wins the day. Even though the guest list spiked by 75, these two pulled it together with the generosity of friends (and even a fellow Tribesmaid!).

Gloria & Robert's harmonious wedding of Korean-Canadian traditions

This is a culture clash we LOVE: Western-style table settings with origami cranes as decorations, the bride's mother-in-law walking down the aisle in her dress alongside her mother in her traditional Korean hanbok, and a bar serving both Canadian beer and Korean soju liquor. We've also got two ceremonies (including a tea ceremony), two dresses, and two genres of food. We are twice as down for this wedding.

Melissa & Scott's atypical Southern Rock 'Em Sock 'Em celebration

This Southern bride, her Southern family, and her Southern groom can tell you that we're not all the cowboy boot-wearing girls depicted on TV and not all of our weddings look like a scene from Steel Magnolias. And in this wedding, it looks like FUN! Board games (including Mystery Date!), a Low Country Boil, a grown-up flower girl, and a pretty sweet processional make this a whole other ball game.
