A Buddhist same-sex new york pop-up wedding
Jazell and Debra were part of the Pop Up Chapel event in New York City, which brought together unique archways and backdrops to 24 same-sex couples for an open-air ceremony. Roman Francisco was there to photograph the event including their amazing outfits, Buddhist ceremony, and a large, supportive audience of guests and spectators.
Swedish fairy ceremony: a sneak peak from the cherry blossom brides!
You just might remember these two ladies from a certain very flowery and pink ceremony in Sweden. The Stockholm city hall wedding was only their first ceremony to make it official.
Laura & Stephen’s retro jazz wedding
We love our retro weddings, and this jazz and vintage-inspired wedding kicks ass. Some of the details included a tattooed and victory-rolled bride (with two dresses!), a groom with an epic ‘stache, and super fun details (like the lollipop bouquets). Though there was a snafu with the first band, the final band rocked the crowd with jazz and swing.
Simone & Dave’s chill summer picnic wedding
This wedding was planned while the couple was traveling between the UK, New Zealand, and Belfast, which makes it a beacon of logistic magic. But in the end they managed to combine some geeky loves with some gorgeous summer New Zealand weather for a picnic wedding to remember.
Sara & Rob’s piñatas and flip-flops island wedding
Piñatas filled with scratch-off cards, a little steampunk fashion paired with casual wear, and a gorgeous island setting make this wedding a sight to see. Despite a few mishaps with the bouquet and the budget, this pair celebrated ten years together with a bang.
Amanda & Mike’s mega-handmade awesome farm wedding
A handmade dress, self-catered reception, homemade reception lighting and decor, and screen-printed chair covers — and it all looks flippin’ sweet. Amidst hanging moss, marshes, gnarly trees, and a farm equipment photo booth, magic happened. And you’ll want to see it.
