There’s one definite way to get me excited about a wedding: tell me it’s a Princess Bride meets Robin Hood: Men in Tights theme. I am not worthy. Kaitlyn and Blaise love all things cosplay and Renaissance so it made perfect sense. We’re talking groomsmen in tights, two themed dresses and a crown for the bride (one that she made!), elf ears for everyone, and costumes galore including Gandalf, Dr. Strange, and Sonny and Sher-wood.

The theme was TIM BURTON. We didn't want a Halloween wedding. We didn't want a wedding specifically themed after any of his particular movies. We wanted our wedding to be a regular, beautiful, fancy wedding, but through the eyes of Tim Burton — TWISTED.

The power of voodoo! This Labyrinth wedding inspiration shoot combines the fantasy of a fairyland wedding with the reality of an English Tudor castle backdrop. Jenny and Liam are major Potterphiles and wanted to inject some Harry Potter magic into their Liverpool, UK wedding. Jenny in particular was super resourceful during planning. She found her gorgeous black gown at a prom dress store and sourced tons of their vendors through Facebook, Etsy, and small businesses. Plus, there was a ton of DIY (with no real magic to help!) including handmade wand favors and loads of house colors and Hogwarts details.
