The gods smile upon this ancient Greek inspired wedding in Punta Cana

Sasha and Masya said that when they met, it was love at first sight and it seemed like it had come straight out of ancient Greek mythology. So it made perfect sense to channel the gods in an ancient Greek ceremony pulling from modern Greek traditions. In terms of style, this is where the pair shined. Think transparent lace in Greek goddess style, a blue mohawk, lots of amazing ink, bare feet, bejeweled anklets, and a pleated white Greek-inspired skirt and white sandals on the groom.

Don't miss the faux hawk at this ultra beautiful DIYed wedding

Ria and Will are both tax lawyers so their wedding day was infused with lawyer jokes, beginning with their hashtag, #filingjointly. Ria also has a daring but soft side, so her hair was swept up in an amazing faux-hawk. She finished the look with her signature hot pink lipstick and vintage jewelry.

Ria went wild with DIY including the cake (a spice cake with cream cheese icing!), handcrafted invitations, dried floral bouquets, and amazing centerpieces. She painted every wooden flower and picked every vintage tea cup for the tables. It was an event full of love, humor, and tons of artistry.

We fell in love with this chic wedding inspiration with clean lines and sophistication paired with a killer mohawk, gorgeous outdoor setting, a funky food truck, and an almost-but-not-quite scandalous wedding dress that gave us all heart eyes emojis.

After that it was getting down to some serious play time with the kids in the wild foliage of Playa del Carmen, which is in no short supply of beauty. Let's put on our sun-soaked goggles for this cave vow renewal in Mexico.
