A Maine camp wedding photobombed by the couple's doggo

Ollie is Leigh and Noah's rescue pup. Ollie can be an anxious dog, so the pair thought she would stay in the cabin for their Maine camp wedding festivities. But Ollie wouldn't stand for missing out on the fun. Who could blame Ollie for making an appearance after seeing the gorgeous style, cozy cottages, lakeside views, and twinkle lights. It was a camp wedding none could forget — rustic meets glam meets completely them.

This urban swinger-vibe microwedding had '60s style, beer, & lots of makeouts

While our other wedding was crafted for children, nature, and our small town, this wedding was built on the pleasures of VICE. We made it plenty sexy with what we wore — a wedding mini dress, nude high heels, Beyonce earrings, and a Priscilla Presley-inspired bubble veil for me; a James Bond-style vintage dinner jacket and Rat Pack loafers for Mike. And after our ceremony, which involved making out with some of our guests (see the photos!).

A quirky retro Moonrise Kingdom-inspired family centric wedding

The previous summer, while camping, we rewatched Moonrise Kingdom, which was one of the first movies we saw together when we reunited in 2012 (we'd briefly had a long-distance relationship in 1996, but went our separate ways and both ended up married to other people). We immediately realized it was the perfect inspiration for our kid-centered, end-of-summer wedding: it's romantic, but also weird, retro, and set in a Maine-like location.

A DIYed Maine farmhouse wedding with board games, a fun run, & a week of awesomeness

Liz and Daniel had a super DIYed wedding with all kinds of personal details. Liz made the decor and their rainbow cake herself in addition to the food being a joint effort of the family. Liz herself was stirring the soup just an hour before the ceremony!

The day was intimate with only 30 people attending. They rented an old farm house by the sea in Maine and invited all their guests to stay there with them. Don't miss their board game guest book. Let's see the whole week-long fun fest…

Leather, cigars, & Samoyeds at this burly bearded couple's winter in Maine wedding inspiration

Brant and Erik have been together for eight years and are engaged but didn't have time for a wedding at the moment due to Brant opening a confection restaurant/bar(!). So they had this amazing photo shoot with their dogs featuring leather details, cast iron, wood beams, and cigars, all set within deep pink florals and rustic greenery. Don't miss the epic floof on those two Samoyed pups and the cake cut with an ax!
