Get ready to fall hard for this Jewish-Mexican wedding in Oxford, England

I am a rabbi’s daughter from New York, while Anna grew up in Mexico City (we met in England in an aerial dance class, as one does). Rather than choosing one cultural tradition, we decided to do everything that was important to us.

We now live in the British countryside, so that became part of the wedding aesthetic as well, with Anna mixing a colourful Mexican colour palette and bouquet of succulents with a tweed jacket and her polo whites.

LA’s oldest bowling alley was the backdrop at this chic & playful two-bride wedding

Gianna and Erin met working as writers on the same TV show and their friendship blossomed into love. They didn’t want their wedding to feel like a wedding but rather just a fun party. Plus, they loved the old-timey feel of the space.

Don’t miss Erin’s fab black and navy dress and Gianna’s suit that was once owned by Ellen Degeneres!

Their reception was held at The Cabin in Darrow, and after their first dance, Jennifer sneaked off to change into a T-Rex costume to surprise everyone. The Anteeks kept the dance floor hopping the whole night.

Love totally wins at this sparkly camp-chic unicorn interfaith queer wedding

We are a queer interfaith clergy couple. Our wedding party consisted of a spiritual and supportive “Femme Crew” and “Butch Crew.” We call ourselves TEAM UNICORN because we love rainbows and sparkles and magic and don’t subscribe to socially constructed ideas of gender. We celebrated our wedding at a stunning camp site in North Georgia all weekend with a Shabbat prayer service, a 12-step recovery meeting, swimming and boating options, hikes to waterfalls, a bonfire, and yoga on the dock.
