Amy and Andrew planned their stunningly elegant goth chic wedding at Villa Capri in Sydney, New South Wales with the most gorgeous black lace gown, candles, red and white details, caramel corn favors, and loveliness everywhere. Amy was never a traditional person — she is covered in tattoos and white was never for her, so she chose elements from dresses she liked and worked with the designer to make her dream, modern black dress. Their wedding was styled by the amazing wedding stylist, Anna Wang, creating a palette full of blacks, reds, and orange-glow candles.

Ashlie and Clay wanted to share their love of theater by hosting a surprise play as their wedding ceremony! From the custom playbill to the haunted prohibition gambling hall and the hotel once owned by mobsters in the Prohibition era, this historical theater wedding was amazing. A dark & chic Horseshoe Bend elopement at the edge of the world
Jill and Bryan drove with Jill’s two young children 28 hours from Chicago to Arizona to elope at Horseshoe Bend. Before the ceremony, the whole family hiked a slot canyon in their wedding attire, just to have the amazing experience and see the scenery. Jill opted to wear a beautiful black dress, and the whole family dressed to match in black with dark brown accents.

One of my favorite combinations of styles is vivid color meets dark goth glam. And this dark & moody wedding inspiration has both in abundance. With florals ranging from purple scabiosa to black willows, a sweets table full of candy apples and a tower of macarons, and two brides rocking gold antlers, turquoise hair, and coordinating (but not matchy-matchy!) whie and gray gowns, it’s a gorgeous display with an eerie and chic vibe.
