Danielle & Gonzalo’s bilingual dance party wedding
This wedding was held at one of our favorite venues in Seattle, Urban Light Studios, and had some amazing Mexican, Irish, and Lithuanian influences. You’ll also want to see the kick-ass dessert bar, crowd surfing groom, and a dress emergency!
Emily & Phil’s romance reading and revelry wedding
It’s our Bookish wedding theme week, and today we’ve got some book centerpieces (that guests could take home) and bookmark escort cards. Plus, you’ll want to see the bride’s gorgeous gold dress, the family’s secret original song for the couple, and their cake buffet!
Sophie & Liam’s low-key budget geek chic wedding
These two know the value of a little leg work in getting a deal for a budget wedding. And when you’re trying to keep family, friends, and especially vegetarians fed and happy, it’s no mean feat. But thankfully, they found a restaurant willing to make a deal and crafted a small wedding with emphasis on being together and sharing in the day. It’s just one of those awesome weddings we are loving for simple weddings week.
Zoe & Gary’s fantasy Quaker snow-covered wedding
A Quaker ceremony meets a 600-year-old reception hall for the kickiest LARPers-in-love celebration this side of York. Guests braved a winter snow storm and were rewarded with Hungry Hungry Hippos and a cake made of cheese wheels.
Cindy & Kris’ vintage multicultural multicolored beach wedding
What’s red, gold, green, teal and covered in peacock feathers and henna? This awesome Nepali-multicultural extravaganza! Just try not loving the brooch bouquet, I dare you.
Rosanne & Andrew’s traditional and geeky wedding
Although Rosanne & Andrew wanted to keep their ceremony traditional that didn’t stop them from showing their geeky/gamer side. This meant having an Xbox 360 at their reception and sending out mini-comic books as thank you’s!
