Renée Marie & Justin’s tiny masquerade wedding
This wedding took a sharp turn when an unexpected and tragic loss occurred. But through it all, this pair planned one of the loveliest weddings we’ve seen, with sunset views, organic and beautiful masks, and an evening candle ceremony. It may have been a bittersweet day, but they made it as sweet as could be.
Maria & Rory’s homemade community country wedding with secret nuptials
When this couple says handmade, they mean handmade. From growing the garden and raising the chickens, these two made it all happen with their own two hands. But wait until you see how a surprise officiant snafu made them rethink their ceremony!
Julie & Brian’s country farm wedding with horses
Horse dancing, cowboy boots, and decorated hay bales — this is one happening hoedown! After everything, this couple totally knows how to skillfully dismount a horse, battle the elements, and rock a horse mask like nobody else. Plus, there’s totally a video of a horse dance during the ceremony. It’s a must-see.
A vintage-inspired California farm wedding with jasmine, goats, and a coral dress
Abra and Jeff got hitched at Roshambo Farms, aka sun-drenched barnyard heaven — complete with chickens, turkeys, and goats. In the months leading up to the wedding, the bride’s mother amassed a collection of vintage silk and cotton lace, and Abra’s childhood friend used the pieces to fashion her dusty coral wedding gown. Guests also gifted the couple handwritten blessings (to be opened on the denoted anniversary).
This wedding is all about rain boots, fabric bouquets, and co-written vows pledging eternal love for cats
Holly and Jen rock at crafting: they handmade both of their bouquets and all of the desserts served at their wedding, including the three-tired wedding cake! Yellow and gray clearly ruled the day, as evidenced by the rain boots worn by the brides, the ribbons used for their handfasting, and the crows and bird cages printed on the dessert cookies. The pair bridged sentiment and humor with their co-written vows, including promises to accept each cat brought into their lives and staying together long enough to see what one another’s tattoos look like in old age.
Lauren & Vaughn’s Mennonite kid-friendly farm wedding
This wedding will have a lot of fans: kids, chickens, color lovers, singers, and of course…. US! You’ve got hymn singing, Indian food, and what I’m going to excitedly describe as a Nickelodeon slime unity ceremony! It’s all wrapped up in a big ol’ barn in pretty sunset land. Just watch out for the bride’s dad and uncle lighting the fireworks with a blow torch. Dudes got wild.
