An intimate and majestic Middle-earth elopement in New Zealand (with a rainbow!)

An intimate and majestic Middle-earth elopement in New Zealand (with a rainbow!)

Kyle is an extrovert and wanted a large wedding in our hometown with all of our family and friends. I wanted a small elopement on top of a mountain in New Zealand where they filmed The Lord of the Rings. I wanted to feel like I was journeying across Middle-earth with the one I love. I wanted our wedding to be an adventure.

A Whidbey Island wedding in their own backyard

A Whidbey Island cosmos wedding in their own backyard

With the help of their friends and family, Rhiannon and Joe completely transformed their own backyard into a magical space for their Whidbey Island cosmos wedding. Gritty, rock & roll, and HOT (literally) New Orleans wedding

Gritty, rock & roll, and HOT (literally) New Orleans wedding

“We wanted something that felt authentically New Orleans, without resorting to cliches: gritty, sultry, funky, and FUN.” This literally hot (like 95+ degrees) was also totally hot in looks, too. The bride’s dress and cape will slay you. This is the type of New Orleans party that we love: rock and roll, dance all night, and authentically them.
