The day was characterized by opposites coming together: boho meets Ikea, with fun color details and a simple, modern look. The ceremony revolved around Dr. Seuss’s “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” and was written by Marta and Christine. Instead of a first dance, they led their their guests in a sing-along.

Molly and Clement’s amazing laid-back Pennsylvania wedding was at a working farm, Mountain Dale farm in Central Pennsylvania. It was a full-on DIYed event with decor make by Molly, found from thrift stores and exchanges. Think flag garlands, silk flower garlands, old map signs, and real flowers provided by friends and family.

Two gamers tie the knot at a Zelda forest-themed wedding

Courtney and Brian share a love of nerding out with video games, so a Legend of Zelda forest-themed wedding at Ramekins in Sonoma, California was the order of the day. They ran into some issues with rain and weren't sure if their outdoor wedding was going to go as planned. Thankfully, the rain stopped long to get mostly through the wedding.

A rustic zodiac inspiration shoot in the foothills of Colorado (with a surprise vintage VW!)

This zodiac inspiration shoot was driven by constellation imagery with purples, gold, and a touch of galactic pink. Geometric and star shapes were used throughout, from the bride's hairpieces, to the geometric wedding arch, to the table decorations, and geode cake. Don't miss the bride's loose bouquet of wildflowers and sage and the surprise gold vintage Volkswagen that happened upon the scene without any planning!

A rural California rock 'n' roll family wedding under the stars

Sarah and Michael married on June 21, 2017 in rural Covelo, CA. The couple chose to get married at Sarah's family home, where they first met, and where Sarah gave birth to their daughter, Maddie. The ceremony began with the groomsmen and bridesmaids having a dance-off down the aisle, and, as Sarah began to walk down the aisle, one of Michael's friends surprised him by taking the mic and singing "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid, which then led to the entire audience singing along.
