A beautiful intimate elopement (that WASN’T the wedding of our dreams)
Sometimes on wedding blogs, you only get to see the sunny side of weddings, especially in real wedding features. This time we’ve got a seriously lovely and intimate elopement that had more than its share of bumps in the road. Despite the problems, this pair triumphed with a gorgeous wedding that, while not the wedding of their dreams, was something to remember.
Our jaws dropped when we saw this geek adventure wedding (on a budget!)
We had a geek adventure wedding theme, incorporating a few of our favorite things in every way we could (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, The Elder Scrolls, Dungeons & Dragons, The Princess Bride, Game of Thrones, Firefly, New World Magischola, and more). We encouraged everyone to come in costume (and most did! With props!), and we made wands as favors, as well as rheoscopic fluid potion bottles, dragon eggs, and all of the food (from our fandoms).

I wanted to end the year with a bang and pull together some of the BEST wedding fashion inspiration we could find from some of our best and most stylish vendors. They decided to blow our ever-loving minds with stunning dresses, dapper AF suits, handmade crowns, masks, custom suits, hand-painted shoes, dresses made from vintage tablecloths, and even dinosaur purses.

These dreamy Disney-inspired gowns make us believe in fairy tales again
Disney Style just shared the Paolo Sebastian Spring/Summer 2018 show collection of Disney-inspired gowns and we were floored. They’re all subtle nods to Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and even a Jasmine-like pantsuit. There’s so much gorgeous embroidery and detailing and I want to WEAR IT ALL.
