Chocolate fountains are super swell and everything, but holy moly did you guys see that Lauren and Ben had a whiskey fountain at their wedding?!
How can I discourage over-drinking at my reception?
Anyone have any good tips on preventing guest over-drinking at our reception? A dry wedding isn’t what we’re aiming for, but we have a few family members who tend to party a little too hardy for our tastes. We’re still in the early stages of planning, but our bar will probably be at least partially open, since we have a lot of friends who are low on cash. Any ideas?
Host a “focus group” party for your wedding cocktails and food
Our bar plan for the wedding is to serve beer, wine, white sangria, and a signature cocktail. I found this recipe and tried it last week. Unfortunately, it tasted exactly like cough syrup. Clearly we needed to do extensive experimentation. To avoid alcohol poisoning, we invited many friends over and had the best impromptu party ever!
