This Virginia backyard wedding combined Scottish heritage with Lord of the Rings

Quarters Farm was not only a beautiful place for Krystyn and Joe to celebrate their wedding day but is also close to their hearts. Joe grew up in the family home on the property. The bed and breakfast and barn were transformed into the most gorgeous wedding space, too. Their casual boho vibe included elements of Lord of the Rings, one of the couples' favorite series. They also planned events and outfit changes to celebrate Joe's Scottish heritage, including Highland games. Don't miss all of their decor touches, much of which was handmade by Krystyn's sister. A DIYed Maine farmhouse wedding with board games, a fun run, & a week of awesomeness

Liz and Daniel had a super DIYed wedding with all kinds of personal details. Liz made the decor and their rainbow cake herself in addition to the food being a joint effort of the family. Liz herself was stirring the soup just an hour before the ceremony!
