We all know that Converse are the un-official shoe of the Offbeat Groom, and that's awesome. We're fully in support of All-Stars. They're sweet shoes, and imminently affordable. But what about for the discerning dude/genderqueer who wants something a little more formal, a little less athletic? Something that's going to be fancy as hell and can be resoled? Well! Today I bring you my current favorite crop of men's formal footwear. Of course there's some Fluevog action in here, but I've also got some Vivienne Westwood, some green-soled Jil Sanders, and some skull-covered Jeffery-West. I also made a point to include some double monk straps, which are my husband's current obsession. I love them, but when I clicked on the pic the page could not be found 🙁 Reply It appears they've sold out. They're Costume National's Checkerboard Oxford Creeper, and I'm not seeing them online anywhere. Sorry about that! Reply Guess I will be quicker on the draw next time! Thanks for the info, though! Reply YUM Has there been a tomboy/butch women's footwear post on here? I'm a woman who prefers more masculine footwear (so not just flat shoes) but my feet are too small for me to wear men's shoes. I need unfeminine shoes in women's sizes! Reply I'd LOVE to do a post like that, but it's not a style I know much about. I'm ALWAYS open to doing a curated guestpost full of awesome shoes!
