Comments on Emily Alt Photography’s super-cool “rolling elopements” may be coming to your town!

  1. Emily is shooting my wedding next spring and I am so ecstatic, you have no idea. She is super easy to work with, responsive, and ohmygod just go look at her portfolio, are you kidding? BOOK HER NOW.

  2. Michigan! Oh, how I wish-I wish we could just do this instead. 🙁 If only you guys were time wizards.

  3. Emily is also shooting my (non-elopement) wedding in March (although when I heard about rolling elopements I almost changed all of my plans!), and she already did our engagement photos. She was super fun to work with — very easy-going and not at all pushy (which is great because I typically hate having my picture taken) — and really willing to work with our particularly budget/personalities/requests. Plus, as mentioned above, her photos are BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend her!

Also, for those doing a non-elopement, I know she does weddings regularly in the Midwest but likes to travel :).

  4. This is so cool! I would imagine it would be complicated to be qualified in every state though. Do they have to jump through extra hoops to make themselves legal to perform a wedding in bunches of states?

  5. This is so cool. I almost wish I had heard of this before. Love our way, may have still chosen it, but this would have been a contender.

  6. Thanks to Emily and her Rolling Elopements, I now have plenty of free time to finally figure out why people love The Walking Dead so much. Why? Because I can lose sleep on binge watching the show instead of losing sleep trying to figure out how to get all our friends and family to come to another city to my “dream wedding” which was quickly turning into a logistical nightmare. Now we just show up, have the people we love the most be a part of it, look awesome, be happy and HAVE FUN. The big party comes later but THIS is the part that matters the most and I’m so excited it’s working out this way. I’m relieved and happy, my pre-husband is relieved and happy, and my super adorable mother has the will to live again. It didn’t take long to realize the real dream was to enjoy ourselves, be surrounded by love, still have something incredibly unique and, most importantly, be married. Scrapping our plans and getting married Airstream Style is the best decision we’ve made and we can’t wait! Oh, and Emily is super nice and easy to work with. Win/win!
