A remote fairy-lit forest wedding

Updated Oct 12 2015

In a remote part of California, Liz and Aubrey held their wedding at the Black Bear Inn, where they first met. It was so remote that they didn't even have mobile phone reception there. That would definitely be an atmosphere for an unplugged wedding.

Photographer Ari Simphoukham said, "Their wedding was beautiful and so real. The love, emotions, and happiness displayed at this wedding was just real." When you see the first look in particular, you'll know exactly what that means.

Woodsy placecards that perfectly fit our forest theme week!

Oh man, I think I made this face when I saw this photo. Such love.

These faces too! Happy sappy goofy grins are my fave.

Love the forest leis.

Lunch Lady Catering rocks the food.

Awesome vendors:

  1. This wedding is so much of what I want my wedding to be like! The table decorations, the twinkling lights in the trees, the freshness of it… so beautiful! You ladies make me so happy, because you are so happy! I love these photos!

  2. What is the backdrop thing called? I've never seen such a thing… it's like stage curtains without the stage.

So beautiful, every detail. Congrats to the happy couple!

  3. I have to say, I really like the centerpieces. So elegant and beautiful, requires lot sof glasses but hardly any expensive and non-reusable flowers. Awesome idea!
