Love is in the air with these hella romantic & quirky save-the-dates (that are 30% off right now!) #Invitations#invitations#save the date Posted Feb 7 2019 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Save-the-dates from Minted I still maintain that Valentine's Day has some of the best visual aesthetic of the major holidays. Unless you're averse to hearts and pink, which I am not. Bring on the romance, even if it's just self love, fur baby love, or Netflix love. But I'm guessing if you're here looking at save-the-dates, you're likely in love and planning a bad-ass offbeat wedding. Or trying at least! Need a little save-the-date guidance? Here are three things you might want to consider including on your save-the-date, even if you didn't know otherwise: Your return address Postcards don't always have a return address, so if it's not included and a postcard goes amiss, you may not know it. "Formal invitation to follow" Wedding traditions aren't universally known, so if you DO plan to send a formal invitation closer to the date, feel free to note this so that your guests will know to expect more information later on. This is especially important if you plan to include a way to RSVP in the later invite. The wedding location Including at least the city of your wedding is important, especially if you use a photo that isn't in that location. So if your engagement photo was taken in Brooklyn but your wedding is at your parents' home in Jersey, make sure the location is included or folks might start booking flights to New York City. Usually, though, this phase is one of the most fun and ripe for the pickings in terms of save-the-date design. Speaking of… one of our favorite paperie vendors, Minted, is having a huge wedding sale with 15% off all wedding products (like invites, menus, programs, placecards, etc.!) and a whopping 30% off save-the-dates. A big ol' discount like that deserved a bit of a look-see. Plus you can easily text them a photo to use, utilize free custom envelopes and guest addressing, and get free address collection, too. My invitation envelopes from Minted were easily my favorite part. And of course, take advantage of magnet save-the-dates, minibook cards, foil-pressed save-the-dates, and budget-friendly options, too. I rounded up some faves to share in case you're searching for that perfect lovey-dovey (or super funny!) save-the-date. Big note: the sale ends on Monday, February 11, so act quickly to snag the design you love. Use code LOVE19 at checkout.
