Pretty cool, right!? I've never thought of adding a pop-up element to wedding invites before so these just got me all excited. Stella was also kind enough to include a link to a template for the pop-up flower and a ton of other nifty pop-up templates for all sorts of occasions. (I wish we had used the pop-up shark for our invites now!)

  1. We are also having a pop-up invitation! Ours have a pop-up proscenium arch with a little fabric curtain.

    • Holy Cannoli! That’s a great idea! Pop-ups are so fun, they remind me of being a kid 🙂

      • I received one of these invites and I can assure you all the real object is WAY cuter than any picture can get across!!
I love how much effort Stella has gone to making her beautiful pop-ups, now I can’t wait for the wedding!!

    • Thanks ladies! Lotuses are the best, I’m making a heap of origami lotuses for wedding decorations, favors & centrepieces! I’m also trying to grow some in a little pond in my yard……its easier to make ’em out of paper!

  2. I really want pop up invitations but can’t find anything suitable for our wedding in templates. If anyone sees any tree pop ups, or lanterns.. please let me know!!

  3. Woah, what a coincidence! I just made a card using the same template a few days ago (for a family member’s birthday). It’s super-easy and really pretty. If you look up “pop-up card” on WikiHow there are a bunch more, too.

    • Awesome! How funny 🙂
I was a little intimidated as the template had like 30 steps, but your right it is super easy.
I’m going to have a look on Wikihow right now!

  4. I love what you did! The colour looks terrific too. We have a popup invitation which we artwork to suit the colour and theme of the day, I haven’t seen one like this though – well done.

  5. I know this post is 3 years old now, but I really love this idea. I’m a bit disappointed the links are broken.
