Checking a good wedding photographer off of your long-ass list o' things to do is one of the harder tasks. They've got to be talented, they've got to GET you, and they've gotta be chill and ready to blend into your day to capture every little moment of awesomeness. When we met Northeast wedding photographer Joline Cameron, we knew this was someone we needed you to meet. Joline is a master at getting to know what your wedding is all about, what YOU are all about, and how she can make sure all the best qualities bubble up to the surface when you see the results. She doesn't want you to think you're looking at a stranger's wedding. She'll find what makes you awesome and deliver on it. Ideal, no? Making a connection Here's what Joline has to say about making a connection to her clients (oh so important!): Photography is about the experience. The relationship between a photographer and her subject should be candid and natural. At the end of a session, I have beautiful images AND new friends to show for it. I love getting to know my clients, listening to what really makes you the person you are, and making those qualities shine in my photographs. Finding what makes you YOU Offbeat couples often spend tons of time making sure that their wedding represents THEM, from their fandom centerpieces, personalized vows, and rockin' looks. So you've got to have a photographer who will make sure the photos are authentic to you… My goal is for your friends and family to see your images and say, 'OMG! That is so YOU!,' not 'I can’t believe that’s you!' A photographer and client have to complement each other to create truly stellar images. A good photographer can take decent photos of anyone. But if you want more than just good photos, we need to make sure we’re a great fit. If you think we may be kindred spirits, chances are, we will create some gorgeous art together. I love to come to your environment whether that be your home, local park, beach or another fun location. I strive to incorporate color, texture, and natural light whenever possible into my images. Wait, there are more reasons to choose Joline? Let me lay it on you… Complimentary engagement sessions are included in all of her wedding packages. They're optional, but a fab way to get comfortable with each other in front of a camera. Joline will also go to locations where you feel comfortable or that mean something to you — comic book store? coffee shop? karaoke bar? your own home! Joline offers special rates for elopements or small weddings (less than 50 guests), so make sure to ask about that if it applies to you. Joline primarily photographs in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire, but is totally available for travel anywhere and everywhere! Don't let geography stop you from getting in touch. Oh, and she's the BEST at photographing pets, so your ring dog or mascot kitty when you're getting ready will be a knockout. Let's hear from one bride who had some reservations about photos in general (hello all of us!): Initially, as a forty-something bride, I was a little self-conscious that the photos might not present us in a flattering light. I’m happy to report that Joline captured beautiful photos of us in a range of settings, from full light on the beach to sunset on the deck to late-night dancing after dinner. As we say in the advertising business, she has a talent for 'finding the light.' Joline was very professional but also very easy to be around. She built a trust with us early-on which made us relaxed and confident in her ability. My advice would be that wedding vendors should not only be skilled professionals, but people with whom you build a mutual trust. Your wedding day will be filled with lots of details and logistics to worry about. Trusting your vendors reduces that anxiety and allows you enjoy the day and focus on your love and happiness. That’s what it is all about. I was first introduced to Joline by a good friend — someone I trusted, and I believe that makes all the difference. John and I are very thrilled, and feel we received much more than we paid for; Joline exceeded our expectations. We have received many compliments from our friends and family as well. – Michelle + John, Newport, RI You can find more testimonials here if you want more proof that Joline is giving sliced bread a run for its money. Got your must-have photographer traits list ready? We've got killer talent, a great rapport, and the magic touch with light. Are you in to meet Joline? We can't wait to see the results of you + her. Make it happen by getting in touch with Joline and seeing if your date is available… Reporter Name * Reporter Email * Original text Enter the original text here.
