We fell in love with this non-binary couple & their urban botanical-style romance #Wedding Porn#black dress#goth#LGBTQ#nonbinary / genderqueer#queer#styled shoot#transgender Posted Jun 21 2019 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Tulle & Tweed Photography Photos by Tulle & Tweed Photography Lane and Ned are a non-binary couple deeply in love and celebrating their third anniversary on the day of this photo shoot. The Parkside Hotel in Downtown Victoria, BC was the perfect backdrop for lovey dovey looks, stellar fashion, and some greenery-filled decor that took our breath away. Plus, it's just an honor to be able to feature this beautiful non-binary couple during the month of Pride. Their outfits definitely stood out as exceptionally stunning. Ned's dress was elegant in black lace with a flowing train and plunging v-neck. They rocked a black acrylic necklace accented by sophisticated hair, pulled back on one side with classic waves. Ned carried a bespoke bouquet, with greens, gold elements, and natural styling. Lane's outfit consisted of an avant garde striped pant, leather top, paisley dress coat, and knee high lace-up boots. They brought some of their own jewelry, and a rainbow handkerchief that added a pop of color. The tablescape was all about tropical greenery meets glass meets monochromatic elegance. It's that perfect combination of modern meets shmancy. We're talking glass pillars with ferns draping, mini marble fondant cakes at each setting, and gold calligraphy leaf place settings. Black ornamental chairs were placed at each setting and black candles lit across the table added contrast and warmth. Don't miss the views from the ceremony location! As someone planning a non-binary wedding for myself and my partner, getting ready for engagement pics and picking outfits for the ceremonies (yes, we're having two), I often feel devoid of representation and examples of what we are trying to do, and these pics brought tears to my eyes! Reply This is the exact reason we did the shoot 🙂 We had so much trouble finding representation and our goal was to do something with a classy feel, but that also represented this couple in their own identification. Hearing your comment made it all worth it for me. Thank you and congratulations! Reply Omg I love this. All very swoon-worthy. Reply This is stunning and I love both of their outfits! Reply Damn that dress is AMAZING! I love everything about this wedding. The style, colors, images. It's all so good. Congrats Lane & Ned! Reply Both of them look so nice! I have been all out of sorts because i am non binary but my partner is not. I am trying to not fall for the traditional things of weddings like the bride an groom. Thank you for this Reply Fabulous, may the universe see this become accepted around the world where binaries only exist in computers.
