Hey guys, get ready for some epic, moody, and gorgeous wedding photography from our sponsor Mike L Photography. Mike L Photography is actually a duo — the "young, tattooed, and married" team of Mike and Courtney — and you've seen their work before on Courtney & Jason's Las Vegas pin-up wedding. If you took one glimpse at that wedding, you could probably tell that Mike L Photography is all about the dramatic visuals. Boy, do we have some intense pics to share with you today, as well as two special discounts for all y'all… Can we just talk about their amazing lighting technique for a second? This photo looks like a freaking Hollywood blockbuster movie still! We are obsessed with photo drama. Dramatic lighting, bold colors, and emotionally charged couples drive us… Mostly we are those photogs that want to have fun with you on the most amazing night of your life and then deliver the kind of photos to you that make you smile, cry, laugh, and then say, "Damn, what a rush." I freaking love this photo. That's exactly how I want all of you to feel on your wedding day — YUSS! In order to get you in this awesome-pants mood, Mike L Photography encourages you to let your freak flag fly, and included in their couples questionnaire is what your favorite drink of choice is, so they can include it in your photo shoots! You know, to ease the nerves, and encourage the fist pumps. Mike and Courtney enjoy working with offbeat couples so much that they're offering these special discounts exclusively to our readers… OFFBEAT DISCOUNTS: Mike L Phtography offers a "tattooed couples discount" of 10% off, as well as $200 off of any of their wedding packages. Just mention that you found them on Offbeat Bride! Even though Mike L Photography is based in Las Vegas, they are frequent travelers to Northern and Southern California, as well as the Chicago area. Their photos are incredible but the fact that they are also super cool people is what makes them one of my top photog recommendations! Reply Courtney was literally lying face down in a filthy back alley in old town Vegas to get the angle for the shot she was envisioning during our engagement session! Creative, fun, laid-back yet hardworking… We have several ginormous canvases displayed and a digital frame set up that replays all the emotions they captured of our wedding day! We love this tag team!!! Secretly hoping for a very delayed (2 years now) trash the dress session with them someday (or "next comes baby carriage" pics??!) if we can talk them into a trip to Seattle! 1 agrees Reply We will be in Seattle in June! 🙂 Reply Amazing! I've already boasted about how wonderful these 2 are, but I'll do it again! We loved working with Mike and Courtney: so much fun and made us feel at ease immediately. They took us to some little industrial area, full of the most gorgeous graffiti, to take our photos before the ceremony. So much fun! Would love the opportunity to work with these 2 in the future…who knows what will happen when we're next in Vegas? Reply Mike and Courtney's blog is an amazing adventure of lighting, color, and fun. I can't wait to hire them for our vow renewal in a couple years! Reply Join the conversation Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
