This pair shared a tearjerking first dance together #Real Weddings: Canada#british columbia#canada#disability#vancouver#wheelchair Updated Nov 15 2017 (Posted Apr 14 2016) Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Love Tree Photography Photos by Love Tree Photography Leann and Doug's North Vancouver wedding at the Pinnacle Pier Hotel had a lot of charm and one of the most adorable first dances. In almost 11 years together, they shared a gorgeous dance. Apparently the happy tears were overflowing. You'll love the gorgeous venue and sunny scenic ceremony. Oh, and don't even think about missing their amazing custom cake topper that totally channels them! Here's a little more detail from Leann herself about how they met and got engaged: We first met online 10 years before our wedding. We felt a strong connection right away and were living together within months of that meeting. Our engagement didn't happen until many years later when Doug surprised me with a special evening on Granville Island that included dinner, a play version of my favourite Christmas movie, It's a Wonderful Life, and a night in the hotel. On the walk back to the hotel after dessert, I had had enough of the cold and rainy December weather and just wanted to get back to the hotel. When Doug asked me to stop for a moment, I wasn't very impressed, until I saw the ring come out of his pocket. After that the weather didn't seem so bad.
