This geek chic wedding was Disney meets Harry Potter meets horror (with pin trading!) #Real Weddings: Western US#brides in glasses#california#couples of color#disney#geeky#harry potter#horror wedding September 5 2017 | Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Rachel McCauley Photography Photos by Rachel McCauley Photography Inthia and Robert are both huge geeks within their favorite fandoms: Harry Potter, Disney, and horror. This means magic for us! There were loads of subtle nerdy details everywhere you looked at this geek chic wedding. Inthia wore Harry Potter Marauder's Map leggings under her dress and Robert hid a pin in his jacket that was a replica of Walt Disney's Disneyland name tag. The groomsmen's pocket squares had the Epcot design on them. Their venue was the vintage craftsman-style Woman's Twentieth Century Club in Eagle Rock, California. The ceremony took place outside on the grass. Two bookcases flanked the ceremony space which contained lots of fun geeky items that represented them. The escort cards that looked like Disney fastpasses, and each table had a different theme related to their fandoms. Think The Haunted Mansion, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, The Exorcist, etc. Now, if you're a Disney fan, you probably know about pin trading. Inthia and Robert actually had a whole pin trading setup as their favors! Each wedding guest received a unique pin in addition to a Mickey Mouse wine key. So epic.
