Jamie and Sam planned a unique elopement with their friends in September of 2019! They decided to make it 70s themed and everyone dressed accordingly, complete with the bride in pants and a gorgeous hat. The couple met with a small group of friends and their photographer Shea McGrath at Balanced Rock in Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs.

The day was mostly about wandering through the rocks with friends, but the couple ended the evening with their small ceremony, right as the sun was going down. There was so much laughter, a few tears, champagne popping, and so much love!

“Three major things that make up our relationship are food, travel and music. This elopement embodies the best of all of those things!” Jamie and Sam came from out of state to be with their wedding, then traveled to Italy afterwards for their honeymoon. After their elopement, they went out to eat with their friends in Boulder!

  1. Garden of the Gods is truly my favorite place on earth! I worked there for several summers in high school and college. These photos capture it beautifully!
