Learn more about our ads. Our sponsors, Grasi and Dani, are Brazilian wedding photographers who launched a travel wedding photography/art project called Rocker in Love. They started touring the US in January (with their adorable eight-year-old son Otto!), photographing weddings, and putting together a book about American weddings. Or as they put it: "We love wedding photography as much as we love exploring and sharing. So during our U.S. Wedding Tour, as a curious family, we will collect love stories, inspirations, words of wisdom from local people, local wedding vendors and local wedding bloggers… hopefully, we will collect some adventures too! We will combine ideas into our wedding photography book and share." Here's how you can be a part of the tour, get immortalized in a book, and snag amazing wedding photos at the same time… Who are Dani, Grasi, and Otto? Rocker in Love – U.S. WEDDING TOUR from Rocker in Love on Vimeo. What's it like to join the Rocker in Love tour? Here are some glowing words from their real life couples… Grasi and Dani were fantastic! They are both super fun and easygoing, but also very professional. Upon meeting them, one immediately feels comfortable and at ease. They both go with the flow, but also help make sure you get the shots you want and need. Seeing even just the tiny glimpses of photos on their camera was enough to let us know we’re in for amazing shoots! We found Rocker In Love via Offbeat Bride, which I was reading pretty religiously during our planning phase. There was a post about their U.S. wedding tour, and after seeing their work on their website, we just knew we had to reach out to them. Fortunately, Grasi and Dani were able to work with our schedule and came to California to shoot our wedding! -Jen and Dustin We loved the concept of the project and the work we saw online. We knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved in something like this. We had an amazing time! Grasi and Danni's professionalism and creativity was a special experience for us where a short testimonial will not portray our true, overall feelings we have for them. We felt like they have been our close friends for years and they actually felt like family to us. Grasi's open lines of communication and always returning an e-mail and phone call prior to the event was most comfortable – they make it happen. Grasi and Danni's chemistry and professionalism allowed us the freedom to capture the day in our eyes, while navigating and managing the day to be sure all components to paint the canvas were in place – perfect balance. -Elizabeth and Brandon How can you join this rockin' photography tour? All romantic commitments aside, having Dani, Grasi, and Otto be apart of our wedding day was one of the most special relationships that could have blossomed. These three became part of our intimate moments – the moments that myself, my husband, my parents, his parents, our families – didn’t realize we were always having amidst the rush and flurry of the day. Photographers with a photojournalistic lean, Dani and Grasi are very skilled and able to create styles that you particularly love. They have an eye for quirk and energy, but also display their skill through portraits loaded with emotion and intimacy. I really love how artistic each photographer (Dani + Grasi, and if you’re lucky – Otto) are, and how different their photos look. I loved looking through the photos and recognizing moments that Dani saw, and then recognizing moments that Grasi saw – they are different, giving different views of the same event/same moments. The three of them operate as a very intimate team – discussing shots, asking questions, directing each other to cover moments and events. Grasi was amazing at asking me when/where moments were happening, as well as discussing shots and giving direction as needed. Dani was incredibly quick at capturing the most beautiful spontaneous moments, and his eye for composition and color is absolutely overwhelming (in the most amazing way.) They were both respectful of moments happening throughout the day, and I never felt pressured, pushed, stressed, or worried when my time was committed to posing for them day-of the wedding (they are so gentle!) Working with ROCKER IN LOVE was delightfully simple. I completely my pay schedule ahead of time, and Grasi was constantly responding quickly to my questions and needs via email/phone call/skype/facebook. Rocker in Love was always accessible and timely. Their presence the day of the wedding was professional and polite – they fit right in with us! We were happy to have Otto play during the wedding, and overall enthused to have an amazing bonus to our photography team. Our photos were returned to us via an online portal within 6 weeks of our wedding date, but I highly recommend chatting with Grasi if you are unsure when you will receive your photos because she will let you know exactly when photos are available.
