We're fantasizing about this warriors meet fairies wedding #Real Weddings: Southern US#fairy wedding#fantasy wedding#forest#georgia#long-haired groom#medieval#naked cake#outdoor#renaissance#tattooed bride#wings Posted Nov 18 2016 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Laura Anne Watson Photos by Laura Anne Watson In the Jousting Arena at the Renaissance Faire, Josh brought Lori out to meet the queen. In front of 400+ people including his and Lori's family, he bent down on one knee, popped open a little white box, looked Lori in the eyes and very sweetly asked, "Will you?" Lori said "Yes!" and the crowd went nuts. Lori and Josh planned their warriors meet fairies wedding with so much style. The story went as follows, "A mismatched group of warriors (the groomsmen) got lost in their travels during a storm and stumbled into the forest of the fairies (the wedding reception and ceremony). And the war chief fell in love with one of the fairies and so a wedding was called for." With mismatched decor of clocks, water pitchers, bird cages, old books, and candelabras, they made a lovely setup for the makeshift wedding. The story for the wedding is so cute! I am actually planning a very similar theme: a viking encampment on the outskirts of a faery forest. Mostly because I really want a Norse wedding, but will die without my Zizzyfay dress. So glad to see a theme like the one I'm dreaming of worked so beautifully for someone else!
