Westeros meets lightsabers at this eclectic warehouse wedding #Real Weddings: Northeast US#game of thrones#geeky weddings#lightsaber#new jersey#star wars Posted Aug 17 2020 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: The Markows The Markows A warehouse venue, life-size skeletons, Stormtroopers, a freight elevator entrance filled with smoke — we are starry-eyed with the brilliance of Bridget and Anthony's eclectic warehouse wedding at The Art Factory in Paterson, New Jersey. As the guests stepped off the freight elevator, they were greeted with a Game of Thrones-inspired champagne wall. They actually hosted a pre-ceremony cocktail hour with Cuban food truck snacks and drinks served from Walking Dead-style drink vessels. The guests were invited over to the ceremony space, which was lined with gorgeous white draping and a stage covered in greenery, inspired by a Northeastern Winter and Game of Thrones. There were even Westeros house banners flanking the entrance. The bride's son escorted her down the aisle, and for their exit, Stormtroopers came down the aisle and led them out of the ceremony to cocktail hour. The reception decor once again fit the Northeastern winter theme, with the tabletops covered in greenery, candles, and vintage doors draped with lighting above them. As they entered, each guest received a CD that directed them to their table. The table numbers were vintage records with the couple's favorite lyrics on the back of each. The food during the reception included a large roasted pig, donuts, and ice cream. Just wait until you see the elevator entrance with lightsabers and all of the killer photo op spots… Vendors Planning: AMV Weddings • Photos: The Markows • Hair: Lanie Max Hair Design • Makeup: Makeup by Stacy Suarez • Entertainment: Mystical Entertainment Group • Venue: The Art Factory • Reception Catering: Ultimate Caterer • Cocktail Hour Catering: Cubano Xpress • Ice Cream Cart: Curlys Ice Cream • Donuts: The Vreeland Store • Bouquet/Boutinerres: Teri's Florist Gallery This slideshow requires JavaScript. Definitely speaks to my inner nerd, lol. I perticularly loved the images of the bride's son walking her down the aisle though, so touching! This can be hard to do as sometimes not everything the couples was like will flow well. But it worked nicely in this wedding!
