Those lace-ruffled ankle socks are so 80's (I used to wear my heels with socks like those…yes, I'm old). I'm putting my wedding outfit together one item at a time, and I think socks will be a part of the equation. Reply Oh wow, those crocheted knee socks are just like the ones we had to wear to school around age ten. To think that something we hated so much then is actually something people like now! Mind you, we wore ours down around the ankles – my friend and I had a conversation one winter about whether it was worth being hugely unfashionable and pulling our socks up to our knees for the sake of keeping part of our legs warm.
