A little tropical, a little glam: this Cuban wedding inspiration is pure romance in 1940s Havana #Wedding Porn#1940s#canada#couples of color#ontario#south america#toronto#vintage weddings Updated Mar 9 2019 (Posted Mar 4 2019) Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Love Always Photography Photos by Love Always Photography Set in the Evergreen Brick Works, a historic heritage site in the Don River Valley Park of Toronto, this Cuban wedding inspiration pays homage to the elegance and splendor of 1940s Havana. We're loving the brick backdrop paired with a little bit of a tropical color palette and island-inspired florals and greenery. Included were ornate and European-inspired styles to recall the Spanish influence of Cuba at that time. Keep an eye out for the bright touches of teal, fuschia, and banana yellow with sultry shades of burgundy and champagne, all filled in with gold accents. I can only imagine how good the Cuban-inspired sweets adorning the dessert display tasted. They were infused with dulce de leche, vanilla, banana, chocolate, coconut, and mango flavors. In the true spirit of Cuba, a cigar station with Cuban rum offers a snazzy take on the spirit of Havana. This whole shoot was warm, inviting, a little bit tropical, a little bit urban, and a whole lot of vintage gorgeousness.
