This cosmic wedding is the final frontier in science meets love weddings #Real Weddings: Northeast US#museum#space theme#wedding dress with sleeves Posted Jul 26 2017 Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: JAGstudios Photography Photos by JAGstudios Photography Stephanie and Pete met at their sci-fi book club, so a cosmic wedding theme was a total match. Stephanie said, “So much of this wedding was inspired by the beauty of space and the feeling you get when you look up at night that makes you feel lucky to be alive and in love.” Their color palette was inspired by the nebula of deep purples, navys, and a little bit of pink (especially in Stephanie's shoes!). And there was a ton of constellations and stars, too, naturally. The reception was held at The Connecticut Science Center to celebrate their love for play and passion for science. The guests were able to explore the museum during cocktail hour, which was held, of course, in the space exhibit. The team at Amazing Celebrations transformed the front lobby into a space wonderland. Dark navy draping mimicked the night showing through the glass walls in addition to projecting constellations on the 146-feet-high wall in the main entrance. Don't miss the astronaut ice cream favors, the frozen yogurt and cupcake dessert display!
