An ultra glam blue and yellow Philippines wedding with Moroccan influences #Real Weddings: Global#couples of color#philippines Posted May 21 2019 Offbeat Editors Photos by: Proudrad Photos by Proudrad Offbeat partner: Caren Offbeat partner: Kenny Date and location of wedding: The only all-steel church in Asia, San Sebastian Church, Manila, Philippines — December 22, 2018 Our offbeat wedding at a glance: We had a Moroccan theme with a cornflower blue and lemon yellow color palette. I also did have lemon literally on my bouquet! There were super personalized details including the groom's cufflinks, groomsmen's socks, shoes, bouquet, arrhae, wedding cord, rings, etc. The invitations were DIYed and made with faux leather envelopes. I wore a sheer prep gown instead of the usual bridal robes. Tell us about the ceremony: All of our Principal Sponsors blessed us one by one, which is not part of the usual Catholic wedding in The Philippines. Tell us about the reception: The reception had a Moroccan vibe with all possible shades of blue and yellow. What was the most important lesson you learned from your wedding? I'm a hands-on bride who wanted everything DIYed. The lesson that I've learned is that sometimes you really need to let your bridesmaids and wedding party help you out when you can.
