Venus and Sam rocked a colorful, bilingual wedding at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, FL with wedding invites printed on tea towels(!), ombre rose waterfall centerpiece(!!), and a cake exploding with flowers inside(!!!). There were also bath bomb favors (made by Venus' sister), lookalike clay figurine cake toppers, and color everywhere.

Sam's grandfather said a blessing in Spanish and had Sam's mother translate into English, and then Venus' dad said a prayer in English and Sam's mother translated it into Spanish for the guests. It was perfect for the blend of Spanish and English speaking guests in attendance.

At the end of it all, there was a tunnel of sparklers leading to a Cinderella-style carriage. Swoon!

Comments on Tea towel invites & ombre roses, at this bilingual fairy tale wedding

  1. This is great! How have I not seen this site before!? Love the intention of it all. What a setting for a wedding and I’ve never seen a cake like that before!

  2. I need to know about the gorgeous bride’s dress! As a fellow woman of substance (my term instead of using the stigmatizing “plus size”) I am blown away by her dress!!! Absolutely divine and ethereal in such a glamorous way!!! Congrats on a beautiful wedding and many happy wishes & blessings!

    • I agree with you and hope you hear back about the dress. My brother says that women should be “thick and luscious”. Real women have curves and meant to have voluptuousness.!!

  3. Beautiful wedding!! love the flower explosion !! I just love the wedding dress and wonder if that is Haley Page’s design .. I think I seen it on say yes to the dress show and it looks just like her design. Anyway Congrats to the couple and Beautiful photos. Love the cake too.
